Refund Policy

Thank you for subscribing to Meminero ("we", "us", "our"). We want you to have a great experience, and we understand that circumstances can change. This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund and how to request one.

1. Paddle as Merchant of Record

All web purchases for Meminero are processed securely by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles invoicing, payment collection, and billing on our behalf.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. Your access will continue through the end of the current billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility — General

We may offer refunds in the following situations:

  • The purchase was made within 14 days, and
  • You experienced a significant technical issue that we could not resolve, or
  • You were accidentally charged more than once

We may ask for reasonable information to verify account ownership.

4. First-Time Purchase Guarantee

If this is your first subscription purchase and you're not satisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days, provided you have not substantially used premium AI features (see Section 6).

5. Renewal Payments

Subscription renewals are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun. If you do not wish to continue your subscription, you must cancel before your next billing date.

6. AI Feature Usage & Fair Use Protection

Meminero includes AI-powered tools (such as AI-generated flashcards) that incur real processing costs.

To protect against abuse, refund eligibility is affected by AI usage.

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • You have used AI tools beyond a reasonable threshold, or
  • You appear to use the Service for data extraction, scraping, automated testing, or non-personal use

We may review usage logs and generation counts when evaluating refund requests.

These measures help keep pricing fair for all users and prevent abuse of high-cost AI resources.

7. EU/UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the EU or UK, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the original transaction date unless you have already begun using premium features, in which case you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is waived.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us with the following details:

  • Your Paddle order number (from your receipt)
  • The email address used to purchase
  • A brief description of your issue or request

If approved, refunds are issued back to your original payment method by Paddle and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.

9. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted when:

  • The request is made more than 14 days after purchase
  • AI tools or other premium features have been used significantly
  • The request is due to a change of mind or lack of use
  • The account shows fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activity
  • Access issues are caused by user-side technical problems (e.g., device or network)

10. Chargebacks

If a payment dispute or chargeback is filed after substantial usage of the Service, we may provide usage logs and account details to Paddle or the payment processor to contest the claim.
